As you would expect, there is an abundance of outdoor activities and places to visit in and around the Highlands – Making it a perfect base for exploring.
We sit on the ever popular North Coast 500 and who doesn't love a road trip! Take the A9 North to Golspie and stop in at the infamous Dunrobbin Castle or carry on round on the A838 to Durness to visit Smoo Cave (the largest and most dramatic coastline cave in Britain). Journey back down the West Coast and put your feet in the Atlantic at some of Britain's best beaches in Clachtoll and Gruinard Bay.
If you are a keen hill walker then you only have to look out of the window, for families there is Inverness Leisure, just a short 10 min drive away. Or venture further afield on the A9 South to Landmark Forest Adventure Park and Newtonmore Wildlife Park – Both great days out for fun filled adventures.
If natural wildlife is more to your tastes then Chanonry point can offer sightings of the famous Bottlenose Moray Firth Dolphins (just make sure you get there when the tide is right). There is also the Tollie Red Kite Reserve close by.
There is so much to see and do, or just sit back, relax and take in the view. The holiday and area is yours to enjoy!
